I am a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Politics of Policing Lab at the Emory University department of political science. My primary research areas include political violence, state repression, interstate conflict, and crime and policing. My work on these topics is methodologically diverse and includes applied statistics (econometrics), machine learning, natural language processing and text analysis, archival research, and qualitative case studies.
My research is published or forthcoming in various journals, including British Journal of Political Science, Conflict Management and Peace Science, International Interactions, International Studies Quarterly, and Social Science Quarterly.
